Flower Garden: Visual Journaling, October 2022 (Artwork no.1)

After I woke up this morning I decided to start making a personal project.
The idea is to create one illustration. I still don't know what I want to communicate but I want to use my new art supplies haul. I have a complete set of Miya Himi gouache that I didn't open yet. I also have Neo Color by Carandhache, some ink, and colored pencils. I have an idea to make a collage from different kinds of styles put together. So, I play with my Apple Pencil in Procreate and decide to make a pattern first as an exercise. I use Real Pencil: Mechanical Pencil by EricAnthonyJ. 

I like how this goes, it starts from one modular shape, duplicates, flips, rotates, and voila! :) It was so much fun, I think I'll try to make another one.

While writing this post I think my goal is to create 4 more artworks that I will assemble together in creating one final collage piece. But before going further, I need to think about what I want to communicate: choose a folktale, fairytale, or inspired by what I watch on Youtube?
